Currently, I am an MSc Development Management candidate at The London School of Economics and Political Science. In the near future, I hope to dive head first into a career centered on improving maternal health standards across the globe, but with particular focus on sub-Saharan Africa . At first, this blog will host my ramblings, thoughts, and academic conclusions on maternal health as I sort my way through my dissertation on Traditional Birth Attendants in African countries. Beginning in August, this blog will take on a different role when I complete my dissertation and move to Atiak, Uganda to tackle my first job at a community-based maternal healthcare clinic.
